Volunteers Week is a week every year in June when we get to celebrate the amazing contribution that our volunteers make. We did a round robin of our lunch clubs this week to take some pics of them all and get their comments about what they like about their volunteer role.
We could not run our clubs and activities without our volunteers – they set up and lay tables, serve meals and drinks, wash up and put everything away, and clear everything up afterwards. They chat to our members and participants, and generally bring some sunshine and sparkle to the lives of many of the people who take part in our services. A HUGE THANKYOU to all our volunteers…and here are some snaps and some of their comments.

The volunteers said they volunteer because they like to give something back to the community, and enjoy interacting with the members. One said she volunteers because Alison makes the best cheesecake 😆
