Cuppas, Cakes & Company 14th September 1.30pm Lands Village Hall

This is a new opportunity for a get-together at the lovely Lands village – come along and have a cuppa, and a piece of cake or a biscuit with us, and benefit from the company and chat among a group of other local friendly people who are maybe feeling a bit lonely, and also looking to share their time with others.
Each session is an informal opportunity to just meet with others, and maybe make some new friends.
Our friendly team will be there to welcome you, and provide a listening ear. Come along and find out more about what we can offer you.
This event is funded by Durham Community Actions’ QUIT programme and so we are especially welcoming people who are thinking about giving up smoking and want some initial support and advice, and those who have already stopped smoking and are finding it a challenge – and are seeking the distraction and support in a welcoming environment.
But these afternoon coffee and chat meetings are not just for those who smoke, or have stopped smoking – they are open to everyone to attend.
Interested in volunteering? Come along and talk to our team. New volunteers are always welcome at any of our events – so please just ask and we’ll get you registered with us as a volunteer.
We hold the Durham Volunteering Kitemark so you can be sure of a warm welcome.
