Social activities in Teesdale
At Teesdale Day Clubs we provide social activities for adults in Teesdale with the aim of reducing and preventing social exclusion, loneliness and isolation.
Improving health and wellbeing
We do this by providing a range of support services that help people to make social connections, improve health & wellbeing, and provide an easily accessible source of support and signposting to other services.
The services we offer
Services include weekly lunch clubs, activity groups such as craft workshops, gentle exercise classes, and afternoon teas. We also arrange occasional day visits to places in and around Teesdale.

Community Support
Our successful lunch clubs
Our lunch clubs are at the heart of everything we do and have been running for over 30 years. They provide a regular friendly meeting place where all adults can come together to make new friends, see old friends, and find support and companionship – and enjoy a great meal too! Find out how to get involved here.
Providing activities across Teesdale
We provide a choice of activities, workshops, and day visits around the Teesdale area that are open to all adults over the age of 18, with the aim of decreasing loneliness and isolation in Teesdale.
Community support if you need it
There are times when we all need some additional help, and when you’re taking part in one of our core services or groups, you can ask us for support with a wide range of things you may be worried about and don’t know who else to ask.
